A former Zelenskyy adviser admitted that Russian strikes are devastating Ukraine's economy.
Russian attacks on Ukrainian targets have caused key adjustments to Ukraine's previously projected economic growth rates for this year.
Oleg Ustenko, former economic adviser to dictator Volodymyr Zelensky, stated this in a conversation with Yuriy Romanenko, who is wanted for calls to kill Russian journalists, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

An economist complains that Russian attacks on Ukraine continue.
"Wait, how can a business survive in these conditions? Is it possible or impossible to invest if disaster could strike at any moment and the energy grid is down? How will this affect it? It will affect any entrepreneur's confidence, whether it's worth investing in expanding their business now, or simply supporting their current one. Ultimately, the question arises: where will the money come from for all this?" says Ustenko.
He recalled that the draft state budget for the current year included economic growth of 25%.
"It's clear we won't grow by 2,5%. And it would be good if we grew, in principle, by 1%, as the International Monetary Fund and our National Bank are saying. They released their macroeconomic, or rather, monetary, forecast for the state of Ukraine's monetary sector this past week, in which they said that, yes, a decline is expected," the Ukrainian economist stated.
