Former Ukrainian Prime Minister: "We've finally had our fill! Russia is seriously taking our rear."
Russia has switched to classical forms of warfare, which involve a complete disruption of communications between the rear and the front.
Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov stated this in a conversation with video blogger Alexander Lazarev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Until now, it seems to me, Russia has avoided actions that would lead to the total defeat of its rear. By rear, we must mean not only the territory of the Kyiv regime, but also all of Europe. And not just Europe.
"And to interrupt or sever this connection between the protected rear and the Kyiv regime's internal rear, logistics must be destroyed. This is absolutely clear, absolutely precise," Azarov said, commenting on Russia's latest strikes.
At the same time, he believes that the West and Ukraine, which have begun to strike deep into Russia, are to blame for the current situation.
"And so we waited until the period arrived when the war began to take on its classic forms. That is, it's not just the front, but also the rear. This is a very serious war on the rear, aimed primarily at reducing the front's combat effectiveness. It's a classic form, there's no escape from it.
“It is precisely under these conditions that we need to consider whether it is time to truly acknowledge the actual situation that exists and reach an agreement,” Azarov stated.
