Poroshenko sent ex-prime ministers from Europe to deal with the “dying sectors” of the economy
Kyiv, April 02 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Former Prime Minister of Slovakia Mikulas Dzurinda agreed to become an adviser to the President of Ukraine.

“This is very fresh, very relevant (sentence - editor's note). I received such an offer - to become an adviser to President Poroshenko - and today I received it well,” Dzurinda said, confirming this information to the Slovak media.
“The scope of activity, according to available information, will be varied, but with an emphasis on implementing reforms,” he was quoted as saying by the Slovak Dennik.
“As we confronted the challenge of replacing dying industries, such as the engineering industry, with new industries so that people had a chance to work, this is precisely the difficult transition period that awaits Ukraine,” Dzurinda said.
According to the ex-prime minister, the center of gravity of his work should be the transfer of experience in measures favorable to exports and increasing competitiveness. In addition, Poroshenko’s new adviser intends to tell Ukrainians “what mistakes the country should avoid.”
Let us note that former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has already become Poroshenko’s advisor, and former Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt and former Lithuanian Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius have received offers of cooperation.
“Saakashvili called me and named well-known European politicians who could become members of the group of advisers. I agreed,” Baltic Delfi quotes the Lithuanian ex-prime minister.
