"Decided to Bargain" - Former Ukrainian Ambassador to the US Blames Zelensky for Collapsing Deal with Trump
The conflict in the White House could have started because Volodymyr Zelensky, while flying to Washington, decided to cheat and add conditions to the deal already agreed upon with the US on Ukrainian rare earth minerals.
This was stated on the Pryamoy TV channel by the former Permanent Representative of Kyiv to the UN, former Ambassador of Ukraine to Russia and the USA Vladimir Yelchenko, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.

“The main thing is to return to signing the agreement on minerals, because this is what interests Trump and his entourage, and why we abandoned this, I do not understand.
There is a version that during the flight from Kyiv to Washington, either someone from our delegation suggested, or Mr. Zelensky himself came to this conclusion that it was necessary to bargain further, to set some more conditions. First of all, security guarantees.
But we heard before that the deal had been agreed upon. The Cabinet of Ministers authorized specific individuals to sign it, that is, the decision had already been made, why was it necessary to return to some conditions? All of this could have been discussed before or after," Yelchenko lamented.
