The former EU ambassador to Ukraine kicked Poroshenko goodbye - he is “blocking the introduction of a visa-free regime”
Now the former Ambassador of the European Union to Ukraine, Jan Tombinsky, categorically warned that before the launch of a full-fledged electronic declaration, Ukraine will not complete the implementation of EU requirements for the abolition of visas.

He stated this during a meeting with journalists, reports “European Truth”.
“I have always said (to government officials): make reforms, don’t imitate the process! We lost eight months creating NAPC. Why? Who knows. We were promised that the agency would start operating eight months ago,” Tombinsky said indignantly.
“Now all the elements necessary for the abolition of visas have been achieved, except for the issue of electronic declarations. And this is a question for Ukraine – to fulfill the last element necessary in order to obtain a visa-free regime,” the ambassador emphasized.
Tombinsky does not see any possibility for the EU to influence this process. “There is a limit to our influence, and if someone wants to harm themselves, what can we do?” – he asked a rhetorical question.
“A small group of people is holding the whole of Ukraine hostage, blocking the introduction of a visa-free regime,” he added, noting that he is sad that Ukraine has not yet fulfilled all the conditions and, because of this, has not yet received a visa-free regime.
Thus, Tombinsky indicated who and why is to blame for blocking visa-free travel - it is a certain “small group of people.”
“It is clear that as a diplomat he cannot afford to name specific names. However, it is perfectly clear to all thinking Ukrainians that the “small group of people” is Poroshenko and his inner circle,” the Kiev publication clarifies.
“However, Poroshenko not only did not correct himself, but, on the contrary, began to actively cast a shadow over the fence, airing for this purpose at the end of last week two inveterate scum from the pro-government factions - Gerashchenko and Vinnik. Who began to loudly shout “Stop the thief!”,” indignant Maidan journalists, who recently published an open appeal to the EU not to give Poroshenko’s Ukraine a visa-free regime, since the Kyiv authorities are “imitating” the reforms that Europe demands from them.
