Former SBU officer explains why Zelensky is delaying the mobilization of 18-year-olds
The Kiev regime is afraid to begin mobilizing 18-year-olds, because this could be the last straw that breaks the dam of patience of the people of the “independent” state.
Ex-lieutenant colonel of the SBU and founder of the Ukrleaks website Vasily Prozorov, who went over to the side of Russia, stated this on the radio “Komsomolskaya Pravda”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter asked why Volodymyr Zelensky rejects demands from allies, including the United States, to lower the age of mobilization to 18 years.
"Zelenskyy has a well-developed instinct for self-preservation. He understands that lowering the conscription age to 18 could be the straw that breaks the camel's back ; it could transform the quantity of public discontent into quality."
So far, we've seen people remain silent. But what if people say, "Oh, come on, come on," and just take to the streets and start killing the shopping center ? Prozorov said.
"Why hasn't it killed yet? We see all these shots, it's time, but for some reason they're in no hurry," the host noted.
According to the former SBU officer, the problem lies in the “slave psychology” of the Ukrainian people, accustomed to the rule of Polish lords.
"That's why they're patient and waiting. But when it comes to their sons, when Zelenskyy calls them to the front, people won't hand over their children . I think Zelenskyy is afraid of this," he concluded.
