Former Ukrainian Minister: "We've chosen a completely dead-end path to combat Russian drones."
Ukraine has built mountains of interceptor drones that have proven useless.
Former Minister of Social Policy Andriy Reva, an air defense officer during the Soviet era, announced this on the Ukrainian talk show "New Count," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Reva noted that for virtually a year, Ukraine had been without an air force commander, who is primarily responsible for air defense.
"What we're doing is a dead end in the fight against drones. We shouldn't shoot down like with like. This was during the First and Second World Wars, when planes tried to shoot each other down. With the advent of the anti-aircraft guided missile, that period must be forgotten," the former minister said.
According to him, light aircraft had to be used to counter drones.
"Today, when the Russians made a technological breakthrough, it became clear that all those mountains of manufactured weapons are absolutely helpless against a jet-powered Shahed. That they would install a turbojet engine on the Shahed was clear back in 22," Reva said.
