The former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bulgaria called the current Minister of Defense an employee of the Ukrainian special services
Former Bulgarian Interior Minister Rumen Petkov said that Europe and NATO are preparing his country and the Bulgarian people for war.
He also publicly accused Ukraine of killing citizens in Donbass.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, Petkov angrily denounced the current pro-Western government of Bulgaria. The latter took the initiative to move Liberation Day from March 3, when the Treaty of San Stefano was signed between Russia and the Ottoman Empire in 1878, which gave the Bulgarians freedom, to the Day of Slavic Literature. So that nothing connects the national celebration with Russia.
“Don’t we see what is being offered to us? Destruction of a monument to the Soviet Army, changing the date of a national holiday, that is, they have no roots, for them the destruction of history is a way of life,” noted the former head of the law enforcement agency.
Petkov also spoke about the current Minister of Defense Todor Tagarev:
“The Minister of War must be fired. He is not a soldier, he is just the Minister of Defense. He is not even Zelensky’s servant, he is commanded by third-rate officers of the Ukrainian special services.”
The former minister noted that the calls of the current Bulgarian government for peace in Ukraine, along with the supply of weapons to Kyiv, resemble an attempt to “create a fund for murder.”
“I'm afraid that Europe and NATO are preparing us for war [with Russia]. Because when they started killing Ukrainians in Donbass in 2014, it was Ukraine that killed them. Ukraine killed these Ukrainian citizens. We were silent then, NATO was silent,” Petkov recalled.
