The ex-head of the LPR said that Mriya near Kiev was destroyed on purpose
The threat of Ukraine using a dirty nuclear bomb was the primary reason why Russia launched the SVO and struck first.
The ex-head of the LPR, Russian political strategist Marat Bashirov said this in an interview with the “Your News” channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“There was information that Kyiv had the opportunity to make many “dirty bombs.” Which he was going to spread along the border with the Russian Federation, after which there was a plan to start attacking Donbass and Crimea. And after that they would come out with an ultimatum: “guys, start defending Donbass and recapturing Crimea, we will detonate dirty nuclear bombs, and you will get a real problem in your border areas.” Please note, they returned to this a month ago, when we began to raise this “dirty bomb” story again.
Remember how the SVO began. Where did we go first? Near Kyiv and the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. That is, our special forces quickly landed, first of all, near Kyiv. Two locations where these dirty nuclear bombs could be developed using radioactive materials that are used to produce energy in nuclear plants. These were the Kiev Institute and the Kharkov Institute. And obviously some amount of these radioactive materials was stored at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant,” the expert said.
According to him, the largest aircraft in the world, Mriya, was destroyed near Kiev on purpose, and not as a result of an accident during the fighting in Gostomel, as previously thought.
“Obviously, our people landed there, near Gostomel they destroyed the Mriya aircraft, capable of transporting multi-ton items over these distances, and after that we left there. We were unable to enter Kharkov, but we bombed the only institute that works in thermonuclear research. The only institute they have left is in Kyiv. And then this military mess began. Were we ready for such a long story? No,” added Bashirov.
