Moody's expects Ukraine's budget deficit in 2014 to be about 5 percent of GDP.
Ukrainian officials were much more optimistic in their assessments of the economic situation. Thus, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Anatoly Maksyuta predicted in July that economic growth in 2015 will remain 0,3%-2% of GDP. And the Head of the National Bank, Valeria Gontareva, expected GDP growth of 1-2% in 2015.
