This way the Russians will knock us out from under Kursk by the start of negotiations with Trump, - Ukrainian political scientist
For Ukraine, the situation at the front has become chronically negative.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

«The situation at the front for Ukraine continues to develop chronically negatively. Over the past week, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost control over approximately 120 square kilometers of territory, but only about 60 of them are Ukrainian. I'll explain why.
Because Over the last week, the Russian Federation has intensified its offensive in the Sudzha region. And at the moment, Ukraine controls 424 square kilometers of Russian territory in the Kursk region. And a week earlier, it controlled 482. Almost 60 kilometers were lost.
Either the reason for this was an attempt at a new Ukrainian offensive, which failed, or Russia began to realize its quantitative and resource advantage.
But notice how the flanks have been sagging over the week. The story continues, I think. This trend will continue in the coming days.
Russia will do everything to rid Ukraine of this Kursk argument in the negotiations before the start of real negotiations with Washington.
The same applies, but to a lesser extent, to the situation on the Ukrainian front, in Donbass. The three most critical places this week on the front are around Pokrovsk-Kurakhov, the situation in Toretsk and in the Dvurechnaya area in the Kupyansk direction," Bortnik complained.
