“Leading military experts say that there are many dummies among Russian military equipment near the Ukrainian border. Moscow wants to intimidate us and, as they say, is trying to show off... Experts insist that some of the equipment is made of chipboard,” he said in an interview with Kraina magazine.
According to Dzhemilev, one of the reasons for Moscow’s bluffing on the eastern borders of Ukraine is an attempt to divert attention from the Crimea - for example, the issue of the peninsula was not mentioned in the Geneva agreements, the deputy noted.
