Two Ukrainians face five years for stealing 400 chickens
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, police charged two people with attempting to steal 400 chickens from a poultry farm, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This was reported by the Communications Department of the GUNP in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
So, the security guards informed the police about unknown thieves: a man threw boxes of chickens over the fence, and on the other side, a female accomplice was loading them into a car.
“As the police established, the thief turned out to be a 33-year-old local resident, an employee of the plant. His accomplice is a 26-year-old former factory worker. They planned and stole 400 day-old chicks from the territory of the poultry plant. The criminals were caught in the act when they tried to escape from the crime scene,” the report says.
On August 30, they were informed of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 15 hours 2 tbsp. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of restriction of freedom for a term of up to five years or imprisonment for the same period. On August 31, the case with an indictment was sent to court.
A similar story happened in the Lviv region, where peacocks, pheasants and ornamental chickens were stolen from the territory of an environmental center.
