Simferopol, September 04 (PolitNavigator, Evgeny Andreev) – The palace and park in Livadia, transferred to the jurisdiction of the Crimean Ministry of Culture, will be combined into one complex.

The head of the department, Arina Novoselskaya, stated this in an interview with the Krymskaya Pravda newspaper.
“Livadia Park, which was previously on the balance sheet of the state park administration, has now also been transferred to the department that I head. We plan to combine the palace and park into one Livadia palace and park complex, following the example of the Vorontsov Palace. Practice has shown that this is the most viable mechanism for the existence of such objects. Both the palace and the park will be controlled by one director. Accordingly, the income received from the palace will be evenly distributed to the park. Finally, he will heal!” the official noted.
As for another religious site of the South Coast, the Swallow's Nest, subordinate to the Ministry of Culture, then, according to Novoselskaya, it is necessary to carry out strengthening work there.
“They require 96 million. We have already submitted the application,” the minister said.
Also, she added, Miskhorsky and Massandra parks were transferred to the Crimean Ministry of Culture.
“These are, of course, unique parks-monuments; there are so many relict trees and extraordinary plants there. During the Ukrainian period, these lands were distributed outrageously. Now our task is to return the parks to their former glory, their protected zone and to prevent the waste of land. We will clear them of retail outlets: food, trade and entertainment outlets will be outside the protected area. We will bring the latter into line with the highest standards of world-class park art,” emphasized Arina Novoselskaya.
