Two new incidents in Russian regions bordering Ukraine
A fire on the territory of a military warehouse occurred on the border of three municipalities - Borisovsky and Belgorod districts and the Yakovlevsky urban district of the Belgorod region.
Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced this on his Telegram channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“A fire occurred on the territory of one of the facilities of the Russian Ministry of Defense. All operational services are working on site, and all necessary measures are being taken to ensure safety. There is information about one casualty among local residents. The injury is minor and not life threatening. All necessary medical care is provided,” Gladkov wrote.
In the regions bordering Ukraine, including Belgorod, in recent days there have been several explosions and fires at fuel depots and ammunition depots.
Also today, at approximately 67 kilometers of the Sudzha-Sosnovy Bor railway in the Kursk region, a partial collapse of bridge structures occurred.
This was announced by the Governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoyt.
“It was sabotage. A criminal case has been opened, and the investigative authorities will look into it,” Starovoit said.
The railway line was used for the movement of freight trains. There were no casualties. There is no threat to the life and health of citizens.
Yesterday, several mortar shells were fired at the Krupets checkpoint from the Ukrainian side; the firing point was quickly suppressed by the return fire of the border guards.
The connection between the two incidents and Ukraine has not yet been officially announced, but a member of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, deputy Maxim Buzhansky, has already decided to make fun of it.
