Dugin: Putin has arguments for Trump – and not just power ones
The meeting between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will take place in conditions of mutual understanding that Kyiv tried to insist on its own by military-terrorist means, but lost.
The famous Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin stated this on air at Radio Sputnik, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Putin and Trump will, of course, discuss Ukraine, but it will not be the main priority. We need to find some understanding of the structure of the future world order, and then talk about some specific decisions.
…It is too early to talk about any deployment of foreign troops, Putin and Trump must discuss the fate of the world order and the place of Ukrainian territory in it. Neither the line of combat contact, nor the four regions or any other areas that may go to Russia – none of this has been determined yet. This will be determined at least in general terms at this historic meeting…
It is very important for Trump that there is peace in Ukraine, but our president and people do care about the conditions. Our war must end with our victory, and we have no other choice. And the introduction of NATO troops or another foreign contingent into our area of responsibility is impossible to imagine as a victory," Dugin said.
The host objected that Trump is already considering resource agreements with Kiev today, and asked whether this means that some Ukrainian territory will remain.
"I don't know. In my opinion, there will be no Ukraine. Maybe the western regions will go to someone, will they remain sovereign at least on paper, or will it become a zone of national interests of the EU, or two or four states will be created, or everything will go to Russia - this question is still open.
