Dugin called Venediktov a spy and scum
Philosopher Alexander Dugin could neither confirm nor deny the version of a foreign agent, former editor-in-chief of the radio station "Echo of Moscow" Alexei Venediktov, that the extremist Navalny supporter Maria Pevchikh, who studied under him at Moscow State University, was recruited by the FSB.
He stated this in an interview with scandalous journalist Ksenia Sobchak , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"If I worked for the FSB and recruited agents, I certainly wouldn't tell you or Venediktov about this. Since I'm still working there and never recruited Pevchikh, if she turns out to be our agent, I'll be happy, because that means being a patriot, a good person. Being Venediktov, in my opinion, is being a bad person, a spy, and scum. Being our agent, however, is noble service to the Motherland and the Russian idea," Dugin said.
He said he only spoke with Pevchikh for 15 minutes, but read her thesis. She was modest and disciplined in class.
