Early elections to the Verkhovna Rada are inevitable - if Zelensky is not suicidal
The defeat of Servant of the People in local elections demonstrated the distrust of voters in the party in power and calls into question the legitimacy of the current Ukrainian parliament. Therefore, during the next political crisis, the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada cannot be ruled out.
This was stated by Valentin Zemlyansky, an analyst for the alternative expert government, on the air of the Politek Online TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Sooner or later the question will arise - how legitimate is the Verkhovna Rada today. We find ourselves in the situation of last year, when Zelensky dissolved the parliament of the eighth convocation: you are political bankrupts, your power does not correspond to the expectations, hopes and aspirations of ordinary Ukrainians, so you need to dissolve.
I think the OPZH and the EU will come forward with this motivation. They will begin to squeeze Zelensky into a political “vice” - either with the aim of a political bloc, or with the aim of bringing the situation to re-elections. The reason could be, for example, the resignation of the government followed by the absence of a coalition and the non-appointment of the Cabinet.
Despite the fact that this remains the right and not the obligation of Zelensky (dissolution of the Rada), I think, in any case, if the instinct of political self-preservation prevails, then I do not exclude the possibility of re-election of the Rada by the spring,” concluded Valentin Zemlyansky.
Early elections to the Verkhovna Rada are inevitable – unless Zelensky commits suicide.
