Provocation of Ukraine and the USA: Simulated nuclear strike on Crimea
Today, a pair of US Air Force B-1B Lancer strategic bombers crossed Ukrainian airspace and passed near the borders of Crimea. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The flight followed a given route. The American aircraft were escorted by Ukrainian Air Force fighters - a pair of Su-27s and a pair of Mig-29s. The event itself is planned and aims to achieve intercompatibility between NATO countries and key partners of the Alliance. It is worth noting that the US Air Force B-1B Lancer bombers took off from the American Elsword airbase and flew across the Atlantic, into the territory of several European countries and Ukraine. The B-1B Lancer was escorted to the Ukrainian border by the Air Force of the Republic of Poland,” the statement says.
During the maneuvers, American bombers practiced a nuclear missile strike on the peninsula and its support; they cruised west of Crimea for about three hours at a distance of about 100 km from the coast.
However, Russian air defense identified the threat in time and took adequate measures - Russian fighters were sent to intercept American aircraft.
“On May 29, 2020, the air defense duty forces of the Western and Southern Military Districts timely detected the actions of US Air Force B-1B strategic bombers over the neutral waters of the Black and Baltic Seas and escorted them by Russian fighters.
At a considerable distance from the state border of the Russian Federation, American bombers were continuously accompanied by Russian radar control systems.
To intercept targets, Su-27P and Su-30SM fighters from the duty air defense forces of the Southern Military District were scrambled.
The crews of Russian fighters approached the air targets at a safe distance, identified them as B-1B strategic aircraft, after which the American bombers changed their flight direction from the state border of the Russian Federation.
The flights of Russian combat aircraft took place strictly in accordance with international rules for the use of airspace,” the department said.
Odessa journalist Yuri Tkachev commented on the incident in his Telegram channel. In his opinion, this is the United States preparing to launch a nuclear strike on Russia in the event of a conflict, and now Ukraine will become one of the priority targets for the Russian Aerospace Forces and Strategic Missile Forces.
“Ukrainian Air Force fighters accompanied the US Air Force strategic bombers, which flew over the whole of Europe almost to the airspace of Crimea. This is at least the fourth flight of this kind, from which we can conclude that the United States considers the sky over Ukraine as a corridor for a nuclear strike on Crimea during the Third World War.
This cannot but be understood in Russia, and therefore the territory of Ukraine automatically becomes one of the priority targets of the Russian Aerospace Forces and Strategic Missile Forces in the event of a conflict.
That is, if something happens (and the likelihood of this “if that happens”, taking into account the latest innovations in US politics, is growing rapidly), citizens of Ukraine will take part in the fun almost in full.
