Donetsk, May 26 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Speaker of the Supreme Council of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” Denis Pushilin said that Russian legislation will now be applied on the territory of the DPR.

“With all this and despite everything, we continue to build civil institutions. And I announce that we are switching to Russian legislation. This is a forced and urgent measure,” Pushilin said during a press conference.

As Navigator reported, earlier the prosecutor of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” opened a case against the oligarch Rinat Akhmetov for non-payment of taxes to the DPR budget, using Ukrainian laws, since the DPR has not yet developed its own legal framework.
