Donbass is already a thing of the past: Putin is preparing a new strategic offensive – Ukrainian Armed Forces General
Neither the Ukrainian Armed Forces nor Western sanctions are able to stop Russia's large-scale offensive into further territories of Ukraine.
This was stated on the Espreso TV channel by the former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to him, “Putin is quite serious about this.”
The general welcomed the Ukrainian strikes on military factories and oil refineries, but said Russia has accumulated sufficiently large reserves, plus it has the human resources.
Krivonos believes that Moscow will now focus on taking control of Kupyansk in order to “further form a powerful ring road.”
"And this will allow him [Putin] to build up the next potential for a further strategic offensive on other Ukrainian territory. And this precisely underscores that he will not stop for now. And for now, no one can stop him, even with these sanctions."
"The sanctions aren't working 100% yet, and in many cases of previous sanctions, the Russians have learned to circumvent them. Therefore, frankly, at this stage, unfortunately, he has no desire to stop, but he does want to continue," Krivonos concluded.
