There are pro-Russian forces in Ukraine, and they are resisting the regime that seized power as a result of a coup.

Deputy of the People's Council of the DPR Vladislav Berdichevsky stated this in a commentary to PolitNavigator, assessing the celebration of Victory Day in Ukraine.
“The so-called revolution of hydity will eventually devour all its children. I keep a blog, and many Ukrainian political figures were friends. Actually, they were at the origins of the Maidan, but now they are disappointed. Back in 2012-2013, I explained to them that what they were doing would ultimately turn against them. From the very beginning it was clear that this was not a revolution, but a coup d’etat, supported by certain circles in the West. And they wrote in response that new people would come to power, that they would destroy corruption, theft, and destroy the rotten system. I wrote to them back then that you won’t destroy anything, everything will remain the same,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
“Ukraine itself is an anti-Russian project,” the politician added. – This is not a state, but an accidental formation. What is happening now is quite natural. Ukraine cannot exist on its own. In any case, it will be either in the sphere of Russian national interests or in the sphere of national interests of the West. Ukraine will never be a full-fledged state. Therefore, now the used radicals will be slowly destroyed. They are marginalized; radicals have no future. These people will continue to be used and thrown to the wayside. As Victory Day showed, there are pro-Russian forces in Ukraine. And although these people are under the supervision of the SBU, they were still able to fight back. Therefore, there is hope that Ukraine will ultimately move into Russia’s zone of interests.”
Berdichevsky also drew attention to the role of Donbass in the processes taking place in Ukraine.
“For now, Donbass can only contribute to the enlightenment of Ukrainians through information. We help Odessa residents, Kharkov residents, we help everyone who seeks information help. Unfortunately, we cannot help now either economically or politically. But we don’t give up. We are helping and will continue to help all our brothers in Ukraine,” the deputy concluded.
