Dmitry Sablin rejected the unification of Crimea and Sevastopol
Crimea and Sevastopol will never be united because they are “incompatible.”
The secretary of the Sevastopol regional branch of the United Russia party, Dmitry Sablin, who was recently appointed to this position, stated this on the Forpost TV YouTube channel.

“The issue of development is there, but when we talk about a city, we must first of all think about its soul. Therefore, I think this will never happen, this should not happen. We can change the borders, but in general, Sevastopol must always remain a separate independent city,” Sablin said.
He tried to dispel the fears of those who were concerned about the presence in his team of former functionaries of the Ukrainian Party of Regions, in particular the former Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea in the Makeyevka government Pavel Burlakov.
“They are no longer Crimean, but Moscow. Let’s not forget that Burlakov was the initiator of such a project as “Stop, Maidan,” which took place for three months in both Crimea and Sevastopol. It was he who evacuated the wounded and maimed Crimeans from the Cherkasy region. Many people forgot that our buses stopped there,” Sablin said.
According to him, the Party of Regions activists in Crimea actively participated in the events of the “Russian Spring”.
“Ordinary Sevastopol residents react normally to these people who are ready to take risks, protect, and sacrifice for the good of the city and the country. There is a risk for them, first of all, because in Ukraine this will not pass without a trace. But they are ready to go,” Sablin said.
At the same time, he emphasized that 99% of the new political council of United Russia in the city will be Sevastopol residents.
