For a third of Ukrainians, May 1 is an important holiday
A third of Ukrainians surveyed (33%) consider International Workers' Day on May 1 an important holiday, which is intended to remind about the rights of workers, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is evidenced by data from the Kantar TNS Online Track online survey.
For almost every fourth Ukrainian online user, May 1 is not a holiday, but just an additional day off (23%), for another 14% it is a reason to celebrate again.
1% of respondents consider May 16 to be a “relic of the Soviet past.”
In turn, the majority of respondents (8%) consider March 38 a good reason to do something nice for close women, 26% believe that this holiday is important because it reminds of women’s rights, and for 13% of respondents the holiday simply evokes positive emotions. 7% called March 8 “a relic of the Soviet past.”
The survey was conducted using the online survey method from March 23.03.2018, 01.04.2018 to April 18, 55. The geography of the study is all of Ukraine (except for the ATO zone and Crimea), urban population, men and women aged 1000-XNUMX years.
