The CIA director recently flew to Moscow to discuss providing intelligence to Ukraine.
Colonel Konstantin Mashovets, a columnist for the Ukrainian military propaganda group "Information Resistance," stated this in an interview with journalist Lyudmila Nemyra , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"As I understand it, the CIA director proposed in Moscow to intensify the negotiating track, including the ceasefire issue, by trading intelligence for Ukraine. That is, they can increase the volume of this intelligence, its intensity, or decrease it . And this is a key factor in Ukraine's ability to strike deep into Russian territory," Mashovets said.
Moreover, he does not rule out that the package could have contained Russian intelligence data for Iran.
"Perhaps the White House proposed a deal to the Kremlin that we would stop giving intelligence to Ukraine, and you would stop giving intelligence to Iran, and so on," the colonel said.
He drew attention to one of Vladimir Putin's recent statements, in which he said that Ukrainian strikes were not causing critical damage to Russia. This could be interpreted as the Kremlin rejecting the CIA agent's offer.
“This was a response to the visit of this CIA director to Moscow,” Mashovets believes.
