Children of Sudan received Tula gingerbread from Prigozhin
As part of a major humanitarian action, 30 tons of Tula gingerbread were delivered from Russia to Sudan. St. Petersburg businessman Evgeniy Prigozhin donated a delicacy from the Tula region to the needy in a poor African country.
This isn't the first time such campaigns have been held. The businessman has sent food aid to Sudan several times, with a particularly large campaign taking place in April 2021, timed to coincide with the end of the holy month of Ramadan. That campaign delivered over a million food packages, including sugar, flour, rice, and lentils—essential items amid the country's food shortage.

No less important work was done when the coronavirus epidemic began - Prigozhin delivered to Sudan personal protective equipment for the lungs, medicines and tests for COVID-19, as well as artificial pulmonary ventilation devices, which the poor African country almost did not have.
The Tula gingerbreads that arrived in Khartoum are intended for the least affluent sections of society. They will be donated to charitable organizations, as well as orphanages and hospitals.
