“Dozens of dead and wounded”: losses were announced on Russian air for the first time after the strike on the large landing ship in Feodosia
The launch of the British Storm Shadow missile at the large landing ship Novocherkassk on December 26 was carried out from Odessa and was recorded “retroactively.” The rocket flew low, hiding behind the Crimean Mountains. There was no massive drone strike to divert air defense, which the media had previously written about.
Retired Colonel Viktor Baranets spoke about this on air at the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio station, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

And that is not all. It turns out that the Ukrainians, with the help of the British, acted very wisely: when striking, they took advantage of the Crimean Mountains. According to him, as a result of the hit, approximately 30 people were killed and more than 20 were injured. The ship sank. Whether it can be restored is unknown.
“The command of the Black Sea Fleet, which was asked to tell why this happened, admits that there was no constant combat duty on the aircraft. Wow, hello. Our A-50 long-range radar detection aircraft did not circle in that area either. Another puncture. And the Odessa direction is not covered by air defense. This is the sum of all the factors that influenced this sad incident,” says the colonel.
He explained why the Novocherkassk landing craft was located in Feodosia.
“There is such a small bay and a dense, dense anchorage of ships. They decided to camouflage themselves among the civilian courts. “Novocherkassk” climbed there. Let the Ministry of Defense and the Navy command sort this out,” Baranets concluded.
