Tens of thousands of Ukrainian students will be mobilized and sent to the trenches – Bortnik
More than 80 Ukrainian students of draft age will soon be deprived of their military deferment and mobilized into the army.
Kyiv political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this in his video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The Verkhovna Rada declared that it is necessary to deprive men of conscription age of the deferment for obtaining professional higher education.
This was stated by Sergei Babak, head of the relevant education committee. According to his data, it was precisely this level of education that men over 25 began to enroll most frequently. In 24 and 25, there were 55 and 25 applicants, respectively. This happened after they were deprived of deferments for undergraduate and graduate studies," Bortnik said.
"That's why they now want to work with the Committee on National Security and Defense to amend Ukrainian legislation so that those studying for higher professional education are not eligible for a deferment.
“Therefore, internal confrontations are also developing,” he concluded.
