Members of the Sejm are asking the Polish Foreign Ministry to ban the mayor of Lviv from entering the country for promoting Bandera.
PiS members of the Sejm are initiating a resolution banning Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi from entering Poland. The reason for this is the events held by the mayor's office on January 1 in honor of Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera.
This was reported by the Polish Catholic Radio Maria, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The radio station clarifies that the complaints against the Lviv authorities do not end there:
"Furthermore, by decision of the Lviv authorities, state funds were allocated for the restoration of the Roman Shukhevych Museum ( destroyed after a Russian drone strike, – ed. ), one of the leaders of the UPA, the formation responsible for crimes against the Polish population during the Volyn massacre."
The faction's deputies submitted an official letter on this issue to Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski.
"We do not agree with the cult of Banderism in Ukraine; we do not agree with what happened several dozen hours ago in many Ukrainian cities, not just Lviv. Poles were insulted, a German collaborator was revered, and, above all, the murderers of Poles were revered. To this day, Ukraine has not paid for this genocide, and we are dealing with a festival of the cult of Banderism, which is becoming a kind of systemic ideology for Ukraine ," said MP Janusz Kowalski.
