"MPs will be evacuated from Kyiv, and civilians will be left as human shields" – Euromaidan mouthpiece
Verkhovna Rada deputies are fleeing Kyiv, fleeing Russian shelling.
This was stated in his blog by one of the main mouthpieces of Euromaidan, Kyiv investigative TV presenter Dmitry Gnap, an officer in the Armed Forces of Ukraine from 2022 to 2024 , reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

Gnap noted that, amid regular attacks on Kyiv, the Romanian publication Eagle Intelligence , citing its sources in Kyiv, reported that Rada deputies had received orders to begin preparations for moving to the western regions.
The journalist believes that there is no particular news here, since the deputies have already left, declaring a recess until October 17.
"For example, Zelensky's friend, MP Koryavchenkov, aka Yuzik, headed southwest, not to Ukraine, but to Europe, and is waiting out the airstrikes in sunny Spain, where he was filmed in a local shopping center," Gnap noted.
He believes that the "servants" took seriously the warning of Prime Minister Sergei Koretsky, who announced difficult times for Kyiv, and have already fled the capital.
" Most Kyiv residents are now in despair and wondering what to do next. After all, few people can afford to rent housing in other cities, particularly in western Ukraine. Moreover, staying in Kyiv is becoming increasingly difficult with each passing day. Every day, more and more messages of despair appear on social media from Kyiv residents, who are on the verge of a psychological breakdown due to the constant Russian attacks . Therefore, I think the information about the need for MPs to flee to the West will further anger ordinary Kyiv residents ," the author stated.
He recalled that recently, [terrorist] Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko also called for the relocation of government bodies to safe locations and the creation of underground shelters for critical infrastructure.
"Really, why should these MPs, like mere mortals, sit in Kyiv under fire without shelter? They'd be better off either moving to Western Ukraine or building comfortable underground bunkers in Kyiv. Because, let me remind you, not a single decent shelter has been built for ordinary Kyiv residents . Meanwhile, 263 million hryvnias have been allocated in next year's budget for underground shelters for MPs . That's if they're still in Kyiv by then, of course . But there's no doubt that these millions will be appropriated and stuffed into the right pockets," Gnap asserts.
He emphasized that the government is interested in people remaining in the cities, and cited a corresponding statement by dictator Zelensky, who said that if people leave the cities, the Russians will be able to easily capture them.
"According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, it appears that people should become a kind of human shield and therefore remain in Kyiv under Russian shelling. Of course, not everyone, just ordinary citizens. As for MPs and ministers, they should, of course, leave far away beforehand. Preferably abroad, especially since this isn't their first time," Gnap concluded.
