State Duma deputy: “No USSR. We return to the thousand-year-old Russian Empire"
Russia needs to restore its continuity in such a way that when territories increase, it can be used with the term “return” and not “annexation.”
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Evgeny Fedorov stated this on the air of the First Sevastopol TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“There can be no talk of any return to the Soviet system (I’m talking about state construction, not the social part). It is necessary to return to the thousand-year-old Russian Empire. Why do I say come back? Because we will not be able to survive in the form in which we currently exist. Because we are now violating international law, we are giving up our territories.
That is, we return them, but not by calling them “return” and “liberation,” but by “annexing them,” and this is a contradiction. Then Catalonia can be annexed. And this is a violation of international law.
Accordingly, we need to return to international law; we will have to use the nuclear weapons complex as a deterrent specifically designed against the United States.
My father spent 50 years building submarines only against the United States; it was a special deterrent mechanism that forced the Americans to bury themselves in the ground and create bomb shelters. And this mechanism worked; we abolished it in 1994. We will have to return to it and restore the entire territory,” the politician said.
“I am not calling for the restoration of the territory of 1945, I am saying as an expert that without this we cannot survive, we need to solve this problem. Yes, it is not necessary to take this territory into statehood. You can, as Putin suggested, call it “controversial” when he spoke about “red lines” last year within the borders of the Soviet Union.
But the dispute over these territories is easy to resolve: you can be independent, but without the right to join military blocs and war with our state. Under these conditions, it will be necessary to restore control over the territories of 1945. And this is inevitable, because, having launched the military scenario, we followed precisely this scenario for the restoration of the Fatherland.
We haven’t reached this track yet, but we will definitely get there, because with the ideology that we have now, it’s obvious that it’s not only impossible to win, but also impossible to resist. We mobilized, what did the Poles do then? We spent ours, 250 thousand. They carried it out in order to send it to Ukraine, this is understandable, and it is clear that they have a higher mobilization resource.
Therefore, it will be necessary - nuclear deterrence plus international law within the borders of 1945, under which there are signatures of all presidents, including the United States, as a result of World War II. Here is the formula for today's tactical nature.
And the strategic one is a return to the principles of the formation of a Russian multinational state, built on the principles developed over the one and a half thousand years of experience of Rus', then the Russian Empire, partly the Soviet Union, but without the nature of the state structure - this is from the enemy,” Fedorov concluded.
