On his page, the parliamentarian once again emphasized that the film is based on real events - the story of two Russian sociologists Maxim Shugaley and Samer Sueyfan. In 2019, they went on a business trip to the Libyan capital Tripoli. The goal is to conduct sociological research.
However, their work was interrupted because... The scientists were captured by militants from one of the terrorist groups and are still being held in prison.
In Russia, in particular in Moscow, at the beginning of the year, numerous actions took place for the liberation of our fellow citizens.

The deputy praised the performances of the actors who starred in the first "Shugaley." This film was also created to draw public attention, including internationally, to this issue.

Like the first film, Shugaley-2 was shot in record time. Its premiere is scheduled for autumn.
