Member of the Bavarian Parliament: There is no evidence of illegal activity by the "Russian House"!
The Friedrich Merz government is breaking off relations with Russia by closing the Russian House in Berlin and the Russian consulate in Bonn , without providing any evidence of the involvement of Russian institutions in the alleged subversive activities.
Andreas Jurka, a member of the Bavarian parliament from the AfD, told PolitNavigator about this .

"I consider the demand to close the Russian House in Berlin politically incorrect and short-sighted . Particularly at a time when relations between Germany and Russia are at a historically low, we need places where cultural and social exchange can continue.
Those who tear down such bridges deepen the rift between our countries.
Until there is credible, publicly available evidence of accusations of espionage from German authorities against the "Russian House", political suspicions should not replace the rule of law.
Therefore, the Russian House should not become a pawn in geopolitical disputes , but should remain an important platform for German-Russian dialogue,” the deputy said.
German left-wing politician Sahra Wagenknecht noted yesterday that Chancellor Merz is escalating tensions with Russia, but is taking no action against Ukraine, whose citizens have been detained on suspicion of sabotaging the Nord Stream pipeline.
"Merz is bringing us ever closer to war with Russia," Wagenknecht wrote on her blog.
