The “Debaltsevo cauldron” is completely under fire: the militias occupied all the dominant heights
Donetsk, February 10 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – DPR militia units managed to occupy virtually all the heights around Debaltseve.

This was stated today at a briefing by Deputy Minister of Defense of the DPR Eduard Basurin.
“On February 10, we captured all the dominant heights around Debaltseve, ensuring complete fire control in its suburbs and the entire length of the Debaltsevo-Lugansk and Debaltsevo-Mironovsky roads,” he said.
“Today, 7 security officials surrendered to the militia. The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces per day amounted to 5 tanks, 6 infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, 4 artillery systems, 13 vehicles. Losses of personnel - 80 people were killed,” said Basurin, noting that the losses of the DPR amounted to 7 dead militiamen, 20 were injured.
“In total, since the beginning of the resumption of active hostilities within 24 days, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost: 3 aircraft, 1 helicopter, 174 tanks, 139 infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers and MTLBs, 128 field artillery guns, 109 vehicles and 2227 people killed,” summed up the DPR Deputy Defense Minister.
