"Even in these difficult times": Potanin and Batka are creating mining drones.
Russian billionaire Vladimir Potanin arrived in Minsk today and met with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
They discussed the creation of a joint venture between Norilsk Nickel and BELAZ, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"It's not just quarry trucks, which is surprising to me. It turns out they're also interested in tires, from our Belshina brand. And joint projects for servicing and developing new equipment in the Krasnoyarsk Territory."
"This is also an interesting and promising project for us. It involves both the humanities and IT sectors. We would like your company to cooperate with Belarus even in these difficult times," Lukashenko said.
"I'm pleased that we're turning our general plans into concrete projects. This will allow us to create a new line of technology that, we expect, will successfully compete with the best models, as we're incorporating elements of unmanned technology, new types of safer engines, and advances in AI and big data," Potanin responded.
