"They didn't even bite, they just nipped at Putin" – Kyiv is unhappy with the US "help"
The new US aid package to Ukraine, in the form of the sale of 1,5 kits that convert conventional aerial bombs into precision-guided ones, can hardly be called a "bite" to Russia.
This was stated on the LvivMedia channel by former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ihor Romanenko , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"It should be noted that financial aid to Ukraine is earmarked for 400 million this year. This can be compared to the Biden administration, when they provided us with free weapons using their two billion... We really need these devices. But the Americans are telling the Russians, 'Look, even if the Ukrainians make these bombs precision-guided, they'll only hit military targets and won't touch your civilian ones.'
" This is a mere pittance, what they've planned, but they're doing what they say they're doing. It's not even a 'bite,' it's just a nip at Putin with the actions they've demonstrated. These are insignificant, but important devices for us ," Romanenko commented.
