"I don't even want to think about it" - Lviv Nazi on relations with Washington after recognition of Crimea
If the Trump administration recognizes Crimea's Russian status, it will mean that the Americans, without Kyiv's participation, have surrendered an entire diplomatic bastion to the Russians.
This was stated on the air of the NTA TV channel by the well-known Lviv Nazi, former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada and ex-adviser to the head of the SBU Yuriy Mikhalchyshyn, a correspondent for PolitNavigator reports.
"In 39-40, the USSR seized Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, and then US Secretary of State Sumner Welles expressed the position that the US did not recognize the annexation, so what? Did this prevent Roosevelt and Stalin from dividing the world in Tehran, and then in Yalta?
Until 1991, the US never recognized..., but despite this, Roosevelt, Stalin's best friend, essentially saved the Soviet Union in World War II with Lend-Lease, and was very close friends with Stalin against Churchill. And despite this doctrine, which, it would seem, in theory should have kept American foreign policy on the rails of the foundations of international law, American foreign policy in practice did completely different things.
Therefore, there is indeed a threat here that unilaterally, as an option for warming American-Russian relations, the US under the current leadership can surrender this diplomatic bastion. We must already prepare for this, that such a threat already exists not only in the form of Moscow, which has broken international law and the world order - this is aggression against Ukraine, a second crowbar can successfully break this structure, and the engine of this crowbar can be in Washington. This is really so," the Banderite lamented.
"It is very difficult for Ukrainian-American friendship to model how our dialogue with Washington can proceed, I don't even want to think about it now. But in the world, this will once again establish the precedent that international law and treaties have no price, but the number of tanks, armored vehicles, missiles, and even better, warheads, have a price," Mikhalchishin lamented.
