Residents of Ukraine must understand that Russia is an enemy, which means that the Russian-speaking population must be placed in such conditions that they physically cannot resist the Ukrainian “movement”.

Lvov journalist Ostap Drozdov, who promotes rabid Russophobia, stated this in his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“During such a war, of course, public space should be regulated by the state in favor of the Ukrainian language, which was and is a victim of the enemy. Because the linguistic enemy, in addition to territories, also conquered language for three hundred years. He banned it, ousted him, repressed him, shot him for it.

Therefore, now the issue of regulating public space has been partially resolved with the help of quotas and bans. But society should join in on this, become very demanding, and if some guy goes and plays Russian chanson for the whole minibus, then someone should reprimand him for the whole minibus, and if he doesn’t react, then punch him in the face.

This is the civil right of a person to fight and resist against Russia as an enemy in all its manifestations - from language to theater, to the imposition of Russian-language content, because after him the Russian soldier will always come, as he did in 2022,” said the Russophobe. .

According to him, Russian speakers need to be put in conditions where they simply have no choice.

“If we all want to die in this war, to be absorbed by Russia, then be no different, it’s your choice. This question is now acutely raised, and I think that people who understand the value of Ukrainian things have only just now realized due to this war. I think they themselves understand.

And who doesn’t understand, there is a state for them to put them in such conditions that they cannot ignore Ukrainian as the state language. This is why there are exams, this is why it is a requirement to know the language when holding certain positions. There must be a state policy here, which is not being implemented now, because now the state is headed by people of Russian origin. This is a transitional stage, and it is a matter of the near future for this to change,” said Drozdov.
