“Give me electronic warfare, the Russians are crushing with drones!” - Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansky direction
Combat operations by the Russian Armed Forces in the Kupyansko-Svatovsko-Limansky direction do not allow the release of part of the Ukrainian troops to reinforce the counter-offensive in the Zaporozhye region.
The ex-chairman of the Lvov regional council, and now major of the 103rd defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Ganuschin, stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In this entire direction, the number of shells that the enemy is pouring on our heads, I think I will not be mistaken, because official speakers also talk about this, is probably the largest of all sectors of the front. ...[They are trying] to attack as much as possible here, in the Kupyansk-Svatovsko-Limansky direction in order to pin down our forces and reduce our pressure in all southern directions, that is, in the Tokmak area, and in the Vremevsky salient area, and so on. Therefore, the enemy’s actions are understandable - they should do theirs, but we should do ours,” said Ganuschin.
At the same time, he complained that the Russian Armed Forces had significantly mastered drones.
“They have everything, their entire line works in this direction too, that is, the Orlan UAVs, these are the ones that reconnaissance, and the Lancets, which are the most, they have it all. Unfortunately, the Russians are getting the hang of these drones quite quickly, and we need to take urgent action here both at the government level and throughout the volunteer community to keep up with what Russia is doing.
That is, first of all, as for me, we now need to coordinate efforts on trench electronic warfare, on the ability to counter these Russian drones from each trench, because the situation is becoming more complicated every day,” said the Bandera member.
