Cynical Europe Wants Ukrainians to Fight Instead of It – Former Ukrainian Ambassador to the US
Europe cynically encourages Ukraine to continue the war in order to prepare itself for a confrontation with Russia during this time.
Former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valeriy Chaly stated this on the Apostrophe video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Right now, Europe has nowhere to go; Europe is under threat. Their goal is cynical: they want to keep Ukraine fighting on its own for as long as possible. The logic is perfectly clear. If Ukraine fights and holds Russia back, then Europe might still have time to prepare , which it didn't have before. The intelligence services have stated this, and the head of German intelligence, as have other countries, and they're still working on this scenario: that Ukraine is still fighting, holding the Russians back.
"Incidentally, the September exercises, Zapad-25, the Russian-Belarusian exercises, are precisely the launching pad for such a threat to Europe. And they, of course, will now advocate for Ukraine to continue fighting ," Chaly stated.
