"The numbers will shock you. This has never happened before": Russia has started launching five times more missiles at Banderites
Compared to last month, Russia has increased the number of ballistic missiles used against Ukraine fivefold.
Ukrainian aviation expert Valeriy Romanenko stated this on the Espreso TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The presenter noted that he was getting the impression that “there are more and more Kinzhals and Iskanders being fired at Ukraine.”
"I think if I give you the numbers, they'll shock you . Overall, 101 ballistic missiles were launched at Ukraine in October. This hasn't happened before. If we look at the results from last month, we were talking about 21 missiles. The number of ballistic missiles hitting Ukraine has increased almost fivefold ," Romanenko said.
According to him, the Russians have intensified the use of ballistic missiles because Ukraine is experiencing an acute shortage of air defense systems such as the Patriot.
"And, unfortunately, our ability to destroy them is low. We only managed to shoot down 14 Iskander missiles, and only two of the 14 Kinzhal missiles launched," the expert asserts.
He says Russia has been stockpiling missiles since the spring.
"They've been stockpiling missiles for a long time, and now the Russians are actively using these missile stockpiles against our infrastructure and facilities. And against our military as well," Romanenko concluded.
