"What are you waiting for?! Where are the 'hellish sanctions?'": Zelensky rants at an American audience
The United States must immediately tighten anti-Russian sanctions.
Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this at the YES forum, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“This is a tool that the US has, a non-military tool, to deprive Russia of the ability to finance its daily war against Ukraine, against its people.
And I, frankly speaking, sometimes don’t understand why it’s not possible to make a decision quickly, because during a war it’s better to make a decision that is sometimes less than ideal than to do nothing.
"Therefore, in my opinion, decisions on sanctions, economic restrictions, energy restrictions on Russia, restrictions on the construction of its ballistic missiles and related weapons—such sanctions, such decisions—should be made immediately. What are we doing? Why? What are we waiting for?" Zelenskyy exclaimed indignantly.
He believes that the so-called "hellish sanctions" bill , introduced by the now-deceased terrorist Senator Lindsey Graham, should be voted on in the American Congress.
"He gave his life defending American values, European values, and Ukrainian values. And this is a very important historical moment for the history of the United States. Of course, we must pass and vote on this law, and support it. But that won't be enough. Furthermore, there are important, strong decisions by the US presidential administration, and personal decisions by President Trump. I really hope so," the dictator declared.
