“NATO membership or many, many missiles” – the conditions for “action victory” were announced in Kyiv
The displacement of Russian troops beyond the borders of Ukraine in 1991 will not mean either a defeat for Russia or a victory for Kyiv.
Former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valeriy Chaly stated this on the air of the Pryamyi TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“There is a Russian defeat. What it will be, the form of this defeat, has not yet been established, that will be later. Do you agree to Ukraine's victory? And I will say that now there is no consensus on a victory for Ukraine.
Firstly, does Russia’s defeat clearly mean Ukraine’s victory? I think not. For me, the victory of Ukraine is not only the de-occupation of territories, it is also security against any attempts on the part of Russia to enter our territories. I see one mechanism – NATO membership, a security umbrella,” he blabbered.
“That is, for me, victory is not only the de-occupation of territories, but also some means that would make our further losses impossible. This is membership in NATO or at least medium- and shorter-range missiles, 5,500 km, which we would have in large quantities to contain Russia, and they could clearly fly across Moscow and St. Petersburg,” Chaly said.
