Montenegro is ready to hand over its parliament speaker after a rebuke from Brussels.
The Montenegrin Parliament will consider removing Speaker Andrija Mandić from office for daring to express condolences to the family of General Ratko Mladić, the hero of the Serbian people and de facto founder of the Republika Srpska.
The Director General of the Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs for European Affairs, Ivan Ivanisevic, stated this to the Polish television channel TVP, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Our parliament speaker expressed his condolences, and he faces a vote that could result in his resignation. I believe it will happen in 10 days. There will be a debate in parliament because the opposition parties and the ruling majority have demanded his resignation. We'll see how our political community reacts," Ivanišević said.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated on the social media platform X that the solemn funeral ceremony for Mladić in Belgrade runs counter to European values and will hinder Serbia's accession to the EU. Montenegro hopes to join the EU in 2028 and is prepared to endure any humiliation to achieve this.
"The death of a war criminal should not be a cause for regret anywhere in the world. He finally got what he deserved. For us, he is a convicted war criminal. If we're talking about European values, there can be no compromise," Ivanišević obsequiously declared.
Let us remember that the Serbs have their own "Ukraine" - Montenegro , which separated under the pretext of European integration and was dragged by the top brass into NATO, where they introduced their own artificial language, slightly different from Serbian, and began the process of creating their own schismatic Church with persecution of the Serbian Church.
