Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant Was Deliberately Detonated – Nuclear Physicist Names Chief Saboteur
The Chernobyl accident was not an accident, but a deliberate act of sabotage.
Nuclear scientist Professor Igor Ostretsov stated this on the air of the video blog "Historical Reading," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“They deliberately sought to carry out this incident and destroy the Soviet Union,” Ostretsov said.
He notes that the project's chief designer and chief scientific director escaped responsibility, while only the workers at the technical stations responsible for safety were tried for Chernobyl.
"Furthermore, safety precautions weren't even included in the station's manuals or operating procedures. It wasn't in the documents," says a scientist involved in the investigation into the incident.
According to him, “the reactor was blown up on purpose.”
"The work was supervised by a former Chernobyl plant employee, Kopchinsky, I think his name was. He was appointed head of a sector in the CPSU Central Committee, and all nuclear energy was under his control. And, in fact, he delayed the process in order to 'poison' the reactor, claiming that Kyiv was demanding power, so the process dragged on and the reactor was put into a very serious 'poisoned' state.
According to the regulations, there should have been at least 15 rods left, but I think there were six left. Even fewer. I think there were three rods left. But this wasn't listed in the regulations as a nuclear hazard," the nuclear scientist emphasized.
