Cheboksary will teach Serbia how to build sports facilities
The Minister of Innovation and Technological Development of Serbia, Nenad Popovic, received in Belgrade high-ranking officials from the Russian Cheboksary, led by Alexey Ladikov, as well as the President of the World Karate Confederation, Mark Nikovich.
Minister Popović emphasized the need for a systematic approach to creating a sports infrastructure that would allow mass sports, especially for young people. In this case, Russia is an example for Serbia.
In turn, the head of the Cheboksary city administration, Alexey Ladikov, is ready to share with his Serbian colleagues the experience of the city of Cheboksary in the development of modern sports infrastructure.
President of the World Karate Confederation Marko Nikovic expressed hope that in the future the Republic of Serbia will develop karate: develop infrastructure and hold competitions.
The city of Cheboksary will host the European Karate Championships in 2020.
The Russian delegation arrived in Serbia to participate in the 13th World Championships among cadets, juniors and adults and the World Junior Karate Championships, organized by the World Karate Confederation and the Serbian Karate Union
