Tsarev: Zelensky is not that bad, he is able to buy weapons from Trump
Until autumn, when certain radical changes at the front are possible, there is no point in talking about serious problems for the Kyiv regime.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy and political observer Oleg Tsarev stated this on air at KP Radio, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Zelenskyy generally has enough money and weapons for now; he does have a shortage of manpower—that's true. But to say that by autumn... that something like this will happen right now—that's not true. He feels quite confident, and there's no panic there. Moreover, the funding is structured in such a way that—this isn't a joke, this isn't a pose—Zelenskyy telling Trump: ' Let's buy weapons from you .' It's not just a matter of saying something. Indeed, if Trump says, 'Let's do it,' there will be transfers, and there will be weapons purchases ," Tsarev assured.
"For 10 years after 2014, Russian journalists have been calling me and saying: 'Will there be a Maidan in Ukraine this year? Will Ukraine freeze this year?' These are the most common questions.
It's not all that bad there. We must be prepared for the fact that the enemy is still strong. …We expect that in the fall there will be some more active changes on the front," the former deputy added.
