Former State Duma deputy: Ukrainian business in Russia is more vulnerable than Russian business in Ukraine
Russian businesses have mostly already sold their assets in Ukraine, unlike Ukrainian businesses in Russia.
Former State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev stated this on the UATV Russian television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“What are significant, large investments are three state banks that are still operating, and a number of fairly large enterprises that partially sold their assets formally, and some actually went out of business. There were divisions of all major Russian oil companies here. They actually sold TNK, but it is not obvious that they completely sold LUKOIL. The rest is such a trifle that it doesn’t make a difference. In this sense, Ukraine has more vulnerabilities than Russia,” he said.
