The Russian army has effectively reached the outskirts of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration.

He notes that in the east, fighting is taking place near the village of Nikolaevka, east of which lies the Sapozhok forest. According to Butusov, if the Russians occupy this forest, located on commanding heights, they will simply block the Ukrainian Armed Forces' logistics.
