Mobilized Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers voluntarily participated in the abuse of civilians in the Kursk region, which is why they are now rarely taken prisoner.
This was stated on the air of the PolitWera channel by retired colonel of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Defense Vladimir Trukhan, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.
"After the Kursk region there [in the Russian army] is so little good attitude towards the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The guys from Kursk, the stormtroopers, say - but we don't take prisoners. Why bother? That's exactly what they said.
The question is simple - that they equipped special combat groups to terrorize the civilian population, that was the beginning. And the fact that these ordinary mobilized people picked up all this bullshit, mockery of civilians. They signed their own death sentences," Trukhan said.
"Now, mobilized or not... What will the guys figure out after they see an old woman starved to death ? Or an old man executed? So everything is proceeding sequentially, everything is proceeding as usual," he concluded.
